In addition to having the 'GRIFFIN' text as a logo for myself, I need a square icon to use in various places.
I am also thinking about getting a stamp made, to stamp my packaging for when I sell products.

Where will the square logo be seen?
- Twitter
- Tumblr
- Behance
- Linked In
- Could be used on website & cv
Original Idea
This follows on from my photograph idea, but as you can see, using a photograph of the cut out letter G just doesn't look professional at all. I wanted to look a little bit different from everyone else, but I don't think this is the right way.

Logo Experimentation
I decided to have a play about with what I would use in the logo and how it would be positioned, based on the text used in my other branding.
... Think the circle logo has been over done ...
... Do I want black on white or vice versa? ...
... What do I want in my logo?...
... How should it be positioned?...
... Too much?...
... Too little?...
...Getting there?...
I like this one (the box is there just to show size) but not sure how to place 'GRIFFIN'.
Decide to play about until I get that kerning perfect!
Updating Social Media
Lets start with twitter, would help if I uploaded the right thing...
It looked too simple without a line, so I have a play about adding one, and working out which position the text should be. A few times I had to upload the logo to see what it actually looked like next to the other information.
Getting better but still a bit too close to the text...
Finally happy! Now I just need to update this regularly to get more interest.
//
The next social media to update is tumblr. I think I also need to put some new projects on here as its got a bit boring.
As with my blog settings, you can change the colours and things on tumblr, whereas you can't on twitter, so I need to change the colour schemes to match in with the simplicity of the new branding.
I have changed my about me section so it is less to do with my illustration, and more focusing on my skills which I think are more in demand, like interest in layout etc..
Final tumblr page...
Uploaded my new image and deleted old irrelevant posts. Added my twitter feed. Loving this new look. (For now).
//
The next social media to update is behance, where again, the colour scheme and design has a lot of options to be altered.
Final look... looking a lot more professional.

LinkedIn was just a simple logo to replace. I also updated my information. I haven't had much luck really with this, don't even understand how to use it.
