Progress Tutorial

Progress Tutorial Feedback - 25/10/11

I am pleased with my progress so far on this half of the module, and my tutorial made me feel confident about the work I am doing. A good suggestion in my tutorial was to watch or do an online software a tutorial a day so this is something I would like to try. Another idea is to learn a keyboard shortcut for this software everyday, to make me be able to work quicker.

Attendance: 100% [Excellent]

Filled in by me:

Issues Raised:
- Struggling to keep on top of different areas
- Only basic software knowledge so work a bit slower than others

Blogs:
- Making much better use than last year, blogging regularly, finding it a useful tool, making sure work posted on design context is relevant and feeds into design practice work.
[Very good]

Current Progress:
- Learnt a lot - Need to improve software skills to improve practical work - Need to stay on top of work - Good use of research
[Good]

Action Plan:
1. Become more confident and knowledgeable with indesign and illustrator
2. Create a plan for what order work needs to be done to stop me from getting behind
3. Look at extra enterprise links to aid tasks and understanding
4. Use available resources - always ask tutors for opinions rather than keeping ideas to myself
5. Research more than needs to be done to discover more
6. Start a collection of flyers, cards etc of different weights, finishes, printing processes to use as a resource

Filled in in tutorial with Lorraine:
